Encouragement from the surrounding environment can motivate patients to recover and achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Indonesian government's goal of eradicating tuberculosis. Governments need to make a commitment to establish governance in TB-friendly areas. The study aims to understand how the community feels about TB-friendly preparedness during covid-19. Using quantitative explanatory studies, an online survey of 230 people with TB from the provinces and 40 TB patients from depok city was conducted to describe the frequency distribution of respondents' perceptions of knowledge, attitudes, behaviours, prevention and development of TB-friendly villages. The results showed that overall (100%) of respondents had a good understanding of TB, but attitudes towards TB prevention (50.9%) and behaviour (41.3%) remained poor. Observations have shown that TB patients living in densely populated areas still lack ventilation and lighting. In conclusion, in terms of human resources and organizational culture, the establishment of tuberculosis-friendly areas in depok is not yet ready. The synergy of communication, coordination and community engagement is an important pillar in the development of TB-friendly villages. Improving communication, information and education can change positive attitudes and behaviours towards TB prevention.
