摘要：This paper analyzesthe current learning status offive-year higher vocational college students' English learning from three aspects: teaching materials,teachers, students' learning . It pointedout the importance of stimulating students' interest in learning English and elaborates the purpose of stimulate the interest of higher vocational students in learning English through enriching teaching methods and means ,improving teachers' comprehensive quality, actively carrying out the second class activities ,strengthening the infiltration of Chinese and western cultural atmosphere,and innovating teaching contents .
