从社会文化角度探讨英语标准化考试对中国青少年学习者的影响

摘要


标准化英语考试对中国的英语学习者来说并不陌生,在学生的整个学年中都是如此。进入青少年时期,除了专为进入中学、高中和各类大学而设计的英语测试(Cheng,2008,第16页),学习者还将面临许多测试,作为大型测试的“排练”,同时积极参与动态的社会情感发展(Caskey & Anfara Jr.,2014)。因此,这些测试对青少年学习者的个人和学术生活的社会文化影响不容忽视。在本文中,我将从社会文化的角度出发,借鉴有关社会身份、语言意识形态、第二语言社会化(SLA)的理论和文献,并从以下三个方面讨论中国标准化英语考试对青少年学习者形成或转变的影响:他们的身份认同、语言和考试的意识形态以及语言实践。
