苏丹大学英语学习者加强词汇知识的常用词汇学习策略

摘要


本研究的目的是找出苏丹阿尔扎伊姆·阿拉扎里大学教育学院的英语学习者使用的最频繁的词汇学习策略。 本研究以 159 名一年级英语学习者为对象,设计了一份问卷。问卷采用Schmitt(1997)分类法,条目略有变化。在使 用词汇学习策略来扩大词汇量方面,他们的意见相当一致。认知策略和记忆策略使用频率最高,而社交策略使用频率 最低。该研究建议,教师可以通过向学生提供词汇学习策略的概念来帮助他们变得主动,为他们的成功承担责任,从 而增强他们的词汇知识。此外,教师应该向他们的学生提供广泛的词汇学习策略,包括与课堂相关的设置和自主词汇 学习。
