源价格和对环境的担忧,使政府和行业本身关注更有效的处理方法。生物电化学系统(BES)已经吸引了研究人
员的注意,因为它代表了一种可持续的废水处理方式。这是第一篇综述,总结了以 PW为燃料的BES的进展,并
对影响其性能的参数进行了严格分析。作者发现接种物、温度、水力停留时间、外部阻力以及使用真实或合成的
产水与BES的性能有很大关系。微生物燃料电池是该领域中分析最多的BES,其次是不同类型的微生物脱盐电池。
污水中高浓度的硫酸盐表明,大部分碳氢化合物主要是通过使用硫酸盐作为终端电子受体(TEA)来去除的,但
也可以使用其他TEA,如硝酸盐或金属。作者强烈建议在实验中使用真正的 PW作为饲料,因为使用合成 PW时的
生物膜是不一样的。这篇综述被认为有助于指导使用BES处理 PW的研究方向,并加速BES技术在石油和天然气
行业的实际应用。
