The Construction of innovative Paths in American Literature Teaching under the background of Ideological and political education-- Take "History of American Literature and Selected Readings" as an example

Under the background of current education,the construction and implementation of curriculum ideological and political thought has infiltrated into each course of higher education in our country,has become the main melody of current higher education,how to implement the construction of curriculum ideological and political thought is a major topic of each teacher's thinking and inquiry. The courses related to the history of American literature are closely related to the development of Western culture,so it can be seen that the teaching of American literature should be effectively permeated with ideological and political courses. Starting from the necessity,feasibility and implementation strategies of ideological and political thinking in the curriculum,the author deeply explores the basic issues of ideological and political thinking in the curriculum of American literature teaching. Based on the development trend of the current international situation and the relationship between the development of American literature and Western literature,the author confirms the necessity of ideological and political courses for national construction in the new era and the construction of English subjects. Based on the current development status of English majors in international education and the important opportunity for English majors to get out of the development dilemma,the paper focuses on exploring the innovative path of American literature teaching under the ideological and political background of the curriculum,in order to provide more materials for American literature education and fans.
