With the in-depth development of social economy and the arrival of the new era of the Internet，under the background of the rapid development of e-commerce，for rural e-commerce also ushered in a new development opportunity，all over the country，all walks of life for rural economic development have given great attention，for the development of rural e-commerce to create a good development environment. Secondary vocational schools are also the main places to train e-commerce talents. With the continuous development of rural e-commerce，the demand for e-commerce students is more and more vigorous. Based on this，this paper expounds the meaning of e-commerce and the meaning and characteristics of rural e-commerce，analyzes the development opportunities of rural e-commerce，combined with the current situation of rural e-commerce teaching in secondary vocational schools，and puts forward some feasible suggestions for the training of e-commerce professionals in secondary vocational schools to help the development of rural e-commerce，for reference.
