An Analysis of the Musical Characteristics of the National Instrumental Ensemble "Joyful Ocean"

Since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949，the conditions for the development and growth of national instrumental music have been greatly superior to those in previous historical periods. During this period，composers and folk artists created and adapted many excellent works with their own advantages，greatly enriching the culture of national instrumental music. At the same time，this period also greatly promoted the development of national orchestral music. On the basis of retaining the characteristics of folk music，composers combined western composition techniques to create a series of national orchestral music works reflecting the atmosphere of the times，which has a certain sense of the times.
