English as a foreign language course in the primary school is a critical stage，the role of English teachers in teaching should not be neglected. In English classroom teaching，teachers should break the traditional way of teaching，to innovate teaching methods. Therefore，this paper is how to guide students to read with clear theme，clear reading purpose，connotation better dig up purpose，to improve the efficiency of English learning has played a big role，is a very meaningful teaching methods.
