Research on the Influence of Practical Education on the Ideological and Political Consciousness of Generation Z International Communication Talents

摘要
Practical education,which is available at all times and in all countries,is an effective way to promote the formation of ideological and political consciousness. In the Marxist perspective,consciousness is social and the product of social labor. In the current context of China,the ideological and political consciousness contains such meanings as identification and approval. The ideological and political consciousness that the ideological and political education should cultivate includes the recognition of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the Socialist Core Values,etc. It is to train students to be socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique and aesthetics,as well as a new generation of young people capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation. For Generation Z international communication students,practical education is necessary because of learning needs and the expectations of the times. The School of International Journalism and Communication of Beijing Foreign Studies University builds a “Four Driving Practical Education Model” based on the “Four Strengths”(footwork,insight,brainpower,and writing skills)proposed by president Xi Jinping at the national publicity and ideological work conference,carries out practical education,and cultivates the ideological and political consciousness of Generation Z international communication students. This study believes that in the context of the increasingly complex international and domestic environment,the whole society needs to work together to cultivate the patriotic feeling,stimulate the sense of mission,and make ideological and political education more appealing. So as to help students grow and contribute to the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
