Discussion on the application of Chinese traditional patterns in modern graphic design

摘要

Chinese traditional patterns are a part of Chinese traditional culture and a treasure of the Chinese nation. Because Chinese traditional patterns are widely used in modern planes，and their unique aesthetic value and cultural connotation are deeply loved by people at home and abroad，they have become an important element for international graphic designers to express art forms and aesthetic tastes. Its combination with modern graphic design can enable designers to view and understand graphic design with innovative thinking and broader vision. This paper discusses the application of Chinese traditional patterns in contemporary graphic design from the aspects of traditional patterns and modern visual design.
