The inheritance and development of traditional musical instrument pipa in colleges and universities from the perspective of aesthetic education

Pipa is a traditional plucked instrument with Chinese characteristics. After thousands of years of development，it has left a wealth of performance skills and repertoire. The pipa is played in a variety of ways，with clear and loud voice，which has a strong appeal and dissemination. Due to the rise of traditional culture，more and more students choose to major in or minor in pipa to carry forward and inherit the culture of classical musical instruments. Therefore，education in colleges and universities is facing a severe test. It is necessary to change the previous guidance ideas，let more students see the charm of lute playing，and enhance the students' level of understanding，understanding，appreciating and creating beauty. From the perspective of aesthetic education，this paper discusses how to expand the influence of pipa education in colleges and universities，inherit and carry forward traditional culture，and put forward relevant suggestions and development for reference.
