Gender Expectation in Different Cultural Contexts from the Perspective of Sociolinguistics—Taking Chinese and Western Mythological Characters as Examples

From a sociolinguistic perspective, the paper uses literature research and quantitative analysis to analyze mythological characters in different cultural contexts and explore the different gender expectations reflected in the mythological characters of China and the West. And analyze the social reasons, geographical factors, and psychological factors why people use these languages to portray mythological characters
