反思性实践作为改进教学的一种手段

威廉·亚瑟·沃德(WilliamArthurWard)写道:“平庸的老师讲述,优秀的老师解释,优秀的老师示范,伟大的老师启发”。作为一名教师,我们的秘密愿望是鼓舞人心,因为教师可以改变生活,无论是积极的还是消极的。作为教师,我们希望提供的是前者。然而,研究表明,由于各种耗时的责任,教师很少沉迷于专业培训来提升他们的教学技能。同样,尽管大多数大学在其使命和愿景中都将教学的价值描述得淋漓尽致,但也很少有研究成功地确认教学学者尽最大努力做好教学工作。在本文中,我提出可以通过反思实践来提升教学质量。经过反思,优秀的教师将能够找到提高教学质量的方法,无论是在自我发展、材料增强、班级管理、学生融洽或取得学习成果方面。反思使我们能够思考和理解我们的行为和他人的行为;反思还使我们能够评估和评价先前发生的事件和问题,因此有可能制定解决方案。我们从反思实践中获得的见解可以在许多方面改善我们的生活,尤其是在我们作为教师所做的工作中,从而提高我们自己的教学实践、学生质量和国家发展。
